Jenkins & Penman are a musical songwriting duo, celebrated for their broad scope of musical influences, ranging from rock to choral. The pair have collaborated on a vast array of projects, including folk/rock and pop/rock contemporary releases, choral arrangements for male, female, and mixed choirs, as well as arrangements and songs for educational settings and purposes.

Ryan is currently collaborating with the incredibly talented songwriters and musicians Neil Harvey and Caitlin Grey, bringing his powerful vocals to life alongside this dynamic duo. Together, they’re crafting unforgettable songs that blend creativity and passion, pushing musical boundaries and delivering fresh, exciting soundscapes.

Ryan leads five choirs, working with both children’s and adult groups, all while sharing the co-director role with David Walters for Blokes Who Sing, a male voice choir, and the fully-inclusive North Prospect Community Choir. In addition, Ryan serves as the choral director for City of Sons, a youth male voice choir, the auditioned MCA Earlybirds vocal ensemble, and a non-auditioned school choir. With a passion and specialty in training untrained singers, Ryan is dedicated to helping individuals elevate their vocal ability and develop their voices to their fullest potential. His work spans a range of choirs, creating a space for musical growth and fostering a sense of community through song.
